PURPOSE:To increase an etching accuracy while reducing the wear of a drill by a method wherein a one-side metal clad laminate or unclad laminate which carries a plating catalyst is used for the core material of an external layer and components are laminate-molded into one body with the unclad surface of the one-side metal clad laminate or unclad laminate positioned at the external layer pattern side. CONSTITUTION:A copper clad laminate 2 which has a through hole 3 and carries a plating catalyst is subjected to electroless plating and electrolytic plating to generate a plated layer 5 even on an unclad surface 4 and through hole 3 of the laminate 2. Then, the inside surface of the laminate 2 is pattern-etched to form a pattern 6. On and under a plurality of prepregs 7, the one-side copper clad laminates 2 are so located that the unclad surface 4 having the plated layer 5 may be at the location where the most outside pattern will be formed. Then, the laminates 2 and prepregs 7 are laminate-molded into one body. On the fabricated laminate, a through hole 8 is made. Then, the laminate is subjected to electroless plating and electrolytic plating to etch a plated layer 9 for forming the specified pattern 10. |
