PURPOSE:To easily weld even a part in which a welding torch cannot be inserted by heating the opposite surface by using a laser beam having high energy density. CONSTITUTION:Since the laser beam having high energy density is used as a heat source used for welding, when the rear of the surface where a sheet metal 1 and the other sheet metal 2 are brought into contact with each other is irradiated with the laser beam, penetration of the sheet metals is deep and accordingly, the surface of the sheet metals, namely, even a contact part between the sheet metal 1 and the other sheet metal 2 is molten and the sheet metal 1 and the other sheet metal 2 are integrated into one body and welded together. Accordingly, even the part in which the welding torch cannot be inserted can be easily welded by heating the opposite surface. |
