摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a recording material capable of forming a region showing the sweepback contact angle corresponding to heating temp. by using a crystalline polymer as a material forming a surface layer and utilizing the structural change of a crystal and a non-crystal due to the heating and cooling of said polymer. CONSTITUTION:A recording material consists of a substrate 1 and the recording layer 2 laminated thereto. The substrate 1 is formed from a resin such as polytetrafluoroethylene or a melamine resin, metal such as Ni, Cu, Cr or Pt or metal oxide thereof and, as a material forming the recording layer 2, a crystalline polymer is used and polyolefins or fluorine-containing polymers can be designated. As a contact material, a recording agent containing a developer like liquid ink is used. The recording layer 2 is formed on the substrate 1 and, when the layer 2 is heated in such a state that the contact material is present on the surface of the layer 2, the surface of the layer 2 lowers in its sweepback contact angle thetar to show marked wetness to become a state showing liquid adhesiveness and, when the layer 2 is again heated in air, the surface of the layer 2 is enhanced in its sweepback contact angle thetar to again show liquid repellency.
