The two pincer parts are moved against each other by an intermediate linkage, operated by an air cylinder. The pincer parts are fitted to angle arms with a parallel movement in a holder with an air cylinder drive. The side gap is adjustable between the pincer parts and the needle. The holder for the pincer angle arms swings against a threaded pin as an adjustable limit stop. ADVANTAGE - Buttons of different sizes and types can be laid in the holder, outside the sewing machine working zone, without further adjustment to the button grips.
