PURPOSE:To improve collecting efficiency for particles in superfine particle size range remarkably by charging statically polyolefinic nonwoven cloth after applying 0.2% textile oil fluid. CONSTITUTION:Textile oil fluid is used in the spinning stage of polyolefinic stape fiber, carding or traversing stage of the fiber for the prepn. of nonwoven cloth. Sufficient static charging effect is obtd. by the corona discharge by regulating the amt. of the textile oil fluid to <=0.2%. In order to reduce the amt. of the oil fluid to be held on the cloth, it is preferred to wash off the fluid by washing with water, lower alcohol, etc. before the electrification. The washing may be executed in the fiber state or in the state of nonwoven cloth. The amt. of the oil fluid held on the cloth is reduced to <=0.2% by ejecting water for 5sec-5min.. |
