PURPOSE:To retransfer an ink transfer image easily to a medium for transfer in a complete form without any deformation using pressure sensitization technique by providing a mold lubrication layer containing a microcapsule which encloses a mold lubricant and is broken by an external pressure on the surface where the ink transfer image is formed of a retransfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A mold lubrication layer 2 is provided on the surface where an ink transfer image is formed of a retransfer sheet 1. The mold lubrication layer 2 contains a microcapsule 4 which encloses a mold lubricant for peeling off an ink transfer image and is broken by an external pressure. The recommended mold lubricants are silicone compounds, fluorine compounds, olefine compounds, paraffin waxes, all of which have excellent peel-off properties. The recommended microcapsule wall materials which are broken by an external pressure are melamine formaldehyde resin, urea/formaldehyde resin and polyurea. In addition, the recommended diameter of the microcapsule 4 is 0.1 to 20mum and also the recommended coat thickness is 1 to 20mum. |
