A spool for yarn has two annular discs which are fixed to a hollow shaft (aluminium) by two hollow screws with a head, countersunk into the annular discs. The discs and the screws are made of plastic material (polyamide), also bearing and a sleeve with a press fit. The hollow shaft is made of aluminium tubing and has two female threads at the ends. A spindle bearing is fixed to it with a press fit. Two annular discs are fixed to it by hollow screws with a male thread. The top screw has an insert with a spindle guide sleeve. The recessed surfaces of the discs and the faces of the screws are arranged in a radial plane, with matching cylindrical faces.
