The conductors (18,27) connected to the phase leads (16,24) entering the isolator switching section (10) have extensions (32,34) formed onto their inner ends. The ends of these extensions can be fitted with cranked bridging pieces (50,49) which are perpendicular to the line of the phase leads (16,24) and are permanently joined to connectors (45,46). These connectors pass through an insulation barrier (41) in an opening in the housing (10). The phase leads (16,24) also pass thorugh insulation barriers (13,23) in the housing.
