<p>PURPOSE:To make the signal conductor of a print head short by providing a first switching circuit for sending data signal to a control driving part or driver IC in response to the count-up signal of a clock signal and a second switching circuit for effecting switching action and sending clock signal to the control driving part and a counter or driver IC. CONSTITUTION:When a predetermined number of the clock signal from a line print head signal input part is counted by a n-digit counter 12, its signal is sent to first and second switching circuits 13 and 14 and then to n-bit shift register 1 for retaining such circuits or the driver IC 10 connected with the next stage is made a data output terminal, the clock signal is sent to the shift register 1, the counter 12 or the clock output terminal of the driver IC 10, data signal is entered into a position distant from a signal input terminal and can be shifted to the position close to the signal input terminal by each driver 10. Therefore, when the signal input terminal of a print head is provided on the same side as a first dot, a signal conductor can be made short.</p> |
