A second cable hook (6) is provided at a distance to the first cable hook (5). The latter is designed as a double arm lever (7, 8). Both arms (7, 8) extend away from the swivel axis (9) of the cable hook (5). One lever arm (7) accepts the connection cable (4) and the other lever arm (8) is locked in a recess (11) provided at the housing (2) of the vacuum cleaner (1). The end (10) of the other lever arm (8) is arc shaped. The first cable hook (5) is swivelled by spring loading. The second cable hook is arranged at the housing of the vacuum cleaner. The second cable hook is arranged so that it can swivel at the guide tube (3), and is held by locking in its position accepting the cable. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vacuum cleaner with housing fixed at guide tube. Removal of housing is not prevented by wound-up cable.
