摘要 A contactless chipcard interface for application in keys which form part of electronic security systems is defined as a key contactless interface (KC1). The latter works in conjunction with a primary electronic IC (PEQ) and the system employs interactive coils wound on ferrite cores embodied in the substrate of the interface which respond to oscillatory signals generated in the primary circuitry (PEQ). Coded data are stored in a memory unit (DR1) - typically an EEPROM - and data transfer from the interface to the prim. I.C. is based on amplitude modulation whilst reverse data transfer employs phase modulation. USE/ADVANTAGE - Card fully compatible with existing types of electronic lock. Card design follows format of large scale IC mfr. and, together with size reduction of chip surface for key applications, reduces cost.
