PURPOSE:To manufacture a lens of superior surface accuracy and without stress to be generated and also without defects such as sink marks and others by dropping ultraviolet curing resin on a lens mold, and then curing the resin by means of emission of ultraviolet rays in the state of inserting a filter having different beam transmittances in a central section and an outer peripheral section between a light source and the lens mold. CONSTITUTION:The proper amount of ultraviolet curing resin is dropped from a dropping device 4 onto the center of a lens face of a lens mold 5. A glass blank 7 is placed on the ultraviolet curing resin after the completion of dropping. At that time, the ultraviolet curing resin is clamped between the lens face of the lens mold and the lower face of the glass blank and stretched uniformly all over both faces and adhered thereon to form an ultraviolet curing resin layer 6. After that, a filter P is inserted between an ultraviolet emission device 3 and the glass blank 7 by a filter driving device 2. The ultraviolet rays are emitted by the ultraviolet emission device in the state of inserting the filter. The emitted ultraviolet rays are transmitted through the filter, and then transmitted through the glass blank to reach the ultraviolet curing resin layer 6 and form a cured resin layer. |
