Hot fluids contg molten substances form cystals on cooling to leave other residues. Crystal suspension is sepd from the melt within a suspension crystalliser in a solid-fluid separator assembly, to produce a solid phase, crystals and a fluid phase; portion of the sepd crystals are cooled and returned to the suspension crystalliser.
