The device is for lifting and positioning of interchangeable bodies, containers, etc. on a motor vehicle. It has a frame (2), fastened pivoted with one end (6) to a horizontal shaft on the vehicle frame. A lifting device (4) supports itself on the frame, and carries the other end (10) of the frame. Along at least part of its length, the frame has a single longitudinal strut (18) only, extending to one frame end. A single bearing (8) is located at this frame end, for the pivot movement. The lifting device is supported on a base plate (12) on the vehicle frame. USE - Lifting and positioning of containers on vehicle.
