The brushing head is for a deburring or fettling machine and comprises a rotary baseplate containing interchangeable finger-type brushes parallel to the axis of rotation. The brushes extend through a guide plate parallel to the baseplate, which is adjustable in the axial direction in relation to it. The brushes (5) rotate in the baseplate (41), being driven at a speed at the most equal to 1/50th of the head speed.
