Improvements to a welding machine (of the type consisting of a rectifier assembly, transformer and a generator motor), according to which the generator motor has a variator control mounted on it, capable of continuously varying the speed of revolution of the motor, and the transformer can be adjusted by means of an asynchronized alternator, of variable speed, with the result that, ultimately, a variable intensity of the value desired in each case is obtained continuously, simply by varying the speed of revolution of the motor.
