The apparatus includes a data buffer and an address buffer (12,13) connected to both a microprocessor and a data storing means. A driving port (17) receives address signals through a decoder (15), and also receives control signals from the microprocessor through a control signal buffer (14). A first display (18) displays the operating state of the elevator in response to the control signals of the driving port (17). A second display (19) displays the operating state of the levator cage in response to the control signals of the driving port (17). Thus the operating state of the levator can be more readily informed of, and the operating efficiency can be improved.
