PURPOSE:To miniaturize the printer by composing one part of a printer case of a paper-feed cassette detachably set to a printer case.. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 7 is extracted from the inside of a paper-feed cassette 2 by a picking roller 9 on printing, and recording paper 7 is fed between a printing head 9 and a platen 4 by a paper-feed roller 3 and printed by the printing head 9. Recording paper 7 is fed into a paper-discharge roller 5 by the paper-feed roller 3 after printing, and recording paper 7 is discharged from a paper-discharge port 1a by the paper-discharge roller 5. Consequently, the paper-discharge cassette 2 is housed in the recessed section 1b of a printer case 1 to constitute one part of the underside of the printer case 1 in a printer used, thus preventing the bulky state of the paper-feed cassette 2, then allowing miniaturization. The paper-feed cassette 2 is housed in the recessed section 1b under the state in which the paper-feed cassette 2 is formed in the same surface as the underside and side face of the printer case 1, thus eliminating the need for large housing space, then also resulting in a fine appearance shape having no irregularities. |
