PURPOSE:To reduce the space of a serial carrier part and to attain the miniaturization of a device and the large capacity of a medium (paper money) by providing a bidirectional carrier path at the serial carrier part. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a customer service part 1, a small discrimination part 2 which discriminates and counts an inputted paper money, a small discrimination part 3 which discriminates and counts an outputted paper money, safes 4-6 which store the paper money, temporary holding parts 7-9 which deliver the paper money collected and stored in the safes 4-6 from the safes 4-6 one by one, a reject safe 10 which houses a damage not, a reject note, and a noncirculating note, etc., and the serial carrier part 11. The serial carrier part 11 is comprised setting a bidirectional carrier part 12 capable of carrying the paper money in forward and backward directions and unidirectional carrier paths 13-21 capable of carrying the paper money only in one direction as constituents. Thereby, the miniaturization of the device and the large capacity of the medium (paper money) can be attained. |
