PURPOSE:To readily and stably obtain the subject food capable of a long-term storage, having a high nutritive value, showing liquid state and capable of ready administration by using a milk serum protein produced from cheese whey and carrying out specified sterilization and homogenizing. CONSTITUTION:An objective food mainly composed of a protein, a gustatory substance, a flavor substance and water is obtained by using a milk serum protein (lactalbumin) produced from cheese whey as the protein, preliminarily heat treating the prepared composition at 60-80 deg.C before sterilization, using the ultra-high temperature sterilization method as the sterilization method and carrying out aseptic homogenizing under a pressure of 200-500kg/cm<2> using a homogenizer after sterilization. |
