PURPOSE:To provide a thawing machine containing a water-sprinkler having a specific constitution and effective for preventing the freezing of the sprinkler caused by the residual water by allowing the water remaining after sprinkling to spontaneously drop from the sprinkling nozzle to a drain pan even by placing a water-feeding apparatus above the sprinkler. CONSTITUTION:Chilled moist air is generated in a chilled moist air generation chamber 8 provided with an evaporator 11 for refrigeration cycle, a water- sprinkler 12 having plural nozzles 12A for sprinkling to the evaporator 11, a blower 13 and a drain pan 20 placed below the sprinkler 12. The generated chilled air is forcibly circulated into a holding chamber 3 of the objective thawing machine. In the above machine, the water-feeder 6 for supplying water to the sprinkler 12 is placed above the water-sprinkler 12, the tip end of the sprinkler 12 is inclined downward and a sprinkling nozzle 12A positioned at the lowermost point of the sprinkler 12 is directed downward. |
