PURPOSE:To provide a refrigerator capable stably storing foods by a method wherein a door open alarm is outputted when a difference between an initial inter-refrigerator temperature under opening state of each of doors of a freezing chamber and a refrigerator chamber and an inter-refrigerator temperature after elapse of a predetermined time is more than a predetermined temperature increasing gradient. CONSTITUTION:A temperature TF2 of a freezer chamber and a temperature TP2 of a refrigerator chamber are detected by a freezer chamber temperature sensor 4 and a refrigerator chamber temperature sensor 5, respectively, and stored in a RAM 9. Then, the freezer chamber temperature TF2--an initial freezer chamber temperature TF1 and the refrigerator chamber temperature TP2 an initial refrigerator chamber temperature TP1 are calculated and then temperature increasing gradients alphaF and alphaP within 10 seconds when the doors are released to open are stored in the RAM 9. If the temperature increasing gradients alphaFalphaP are more than 10, an output signal is sent from a control circuit 14 to an oscillation circuit 6 to operate an alarm device 7. The operation is returned back to an input taking operation and the operation is repeated. If it is judged that the temperature increasing gradients alphaF, alphaP are lower than 10, a door timer All is cleared, the operation is returned back to an input taking operation and the operation is repeated.
