The mechanism consists of a gear motor element 2, a chamber 3 with homogenization and metering zones 3a-3b, and a mixing chamber 5. The chamber 3 has two product- feed openings 4, for allowing the simultaneous treatment of two different products, the sum of the surfaces of the transverse sections thereof being greater than the surface of the transverse section of said chamber 3. The metering device is interchangeable, for selecting that which is suitable as a function of the required production, use being made of a tubular piece 7 inserted in the metering chamber 3b for varying the latter's cross- section, where, in addition, the portion of the drive shaft 10 which includes the metering elements 10b is also interchangeable. With one and the same mechanism, it allows the production of diverse production volumes of fine or coarse granular products. <IMAGE>
