<p>This installation, for the selective separation of metal-charged dustcarried in a steel work effluent, comprises means (M1;M2;M3) for measuringthe concentration of the metals, mounted on the path (3, 4; 6; 9) of theeffluent, and means for comparing the measured value with a reference valueof this concentration. It also comprises deviation means (10), reacting withthe result of this comparison, to direct the effluent to a first (11) or to asecond (12) treatment device. The measurement means comprise at least oneunit (14, 15, 16, 17) based on the use of X rays (13), particularly on X-rayabsorption or on X fluorescence. The measurement of the metal concentrationand the selective separation of the dust are preferably carried outcontinuously.</p> |
