The draught excluder (5) fits inside the window frame (3) of a motor vehicle. The frame contains a seal (14) witha lip (16) that leaves a longitudinal groove (17) at the top. The top of the draught excluder ahs D-shaped cut-outs, each of which accepts the foot of a spring clip (11). The head of the clip is wedged into the groove (17). The slot (18) on the outside of the draught excluder runs parallel to the top. It engages a lip on the door seal opposite the one shown (16) to hold the draught excluder firmly in place.
