The apparatus includes a plurality of dust collecting plates (1, 1', 10) for collecting ionized dust particles. A plurality of accelerating plates (2, 20) are disposed between the dust collecting plates (1, 1', 10), and each of the accelerating plates is provided with a rectangular slots through which dust stream flows. A plurality of ionizing lines (3, 30) are installed on the plane of the rectangular slots and perpendicularly to the flow of the dust stream, to establish an electric field. Thus dust particles are collected by the action of the electric field which is established by the ionizing lines. |
