PURPOSE:To relatively easily realize a function for facsimile reception while sharing processes except for latent image formation by providing a recording control means which receives an image signal from a telephone line and outputs it as recording information to a recording latent image forming means and a copying inhibiting means which inhibits a copying control means from operating in response to the output of a recording request signal from the recording control means. CONSTITUTION:A fixed-form magnification setting operation part 68 can be switched between a state wherein a document M is enlarged or reduced equally between longitudinal and lateral sizes and copied with one of three preset kinds of magnification and a state wherein a copy of the same size with the document M is taken through the depressing operation of one of four keys 68A-68D. A facsimile print display LED 70 illuminates while the recording operation is carried out by receiving a facsimile signal and the copying operation is inhibited throughout the facsimile printing operation, so that can be reported to a user. |
