<p>The present invention relates to an insulating panel for a roof covering formed from a rigid material which is both thermally and acoustically insulating. The panel 1 is placed between the waterproof covering or substructure of the roof and the tiles. It has a rectangular prismatic shape, the upper face 1 being smooth or corrugated and the lower face 3 comprising grooves and ribs in order to fit the shape of the covering.
