The invention relates to an integrated circuit having a switchable current generator having a current supply state and a current sampling state. It includes a first (1) and a second (2) current source of the same rated current strength as well as a third (3) current source having a rated strength less than the preceding one and having an output terminal (S). An npn-transistor switching device (10, T6, T7) has a first state corresponding to the said current supply state, and according to which, on the one hand, the first (1) current source is put in series with the third (13) current source, and, on the other hand, the second (2) current source is switched to a means (11) for tapping off current, as well as a second state corresponding to the said current sampling state and according to which the first (1) current source is put in series, at the output terminal, with the second (2) current source. <IMAGE>
