A container comprises an outer tank of cold resistant material containing an inner tank of material resistant to cold and chemical attack the interiors of the tanks being connected by closable operatives. The outer tank 5 has insulation 6 and is supported on wooden blocks 7. The inner tank 4 is formed by walls 10, 13, 14. Frames 9, 11, 12 and struts 8 are provided in the space between the tanks. Walls 13, 14 of tank 4 have valves allowing both tanks to be filled with liquefied gas of low specific gravity, or just the inner tank to be filled with a chemical, e.g. phosphoric acid, of high specific gravity. |
