Fireproof, predominantly mining, halogen spotlight comprising of its housing with separate compartment for power source, connection compartment, auxiliary power switch, connection assembly and head containing reflecting element, source light fitting and light source; is characterised in that includes two position switch (12) of power supply (13) placed in light source compartment (3) behind the heat resistant insulation (11) whose top terminal post (37) is also a bolt of the lead-in insulator (10) supplying power from the connection compartment (2) to the switch (12) connection clamp screwed into housing (39) and the bottom terminal post (38) provides support for spring loaded connector (43) of light source fitting (29) and the slider (35) with contact springs (36) of the switch (12) is connected with the bolt (14) inserted in a sleeve (15) of the housing (1), the upper part of the above bolt is machined off (20) and is inserted in the opening with the side recess (21) in the delimiting bracket (22), while a post (23) permanently attached to this delimiting bracket sliding in a guide (24) is inserted in the hole (25) in the protective sheet metal (26) with hands (27) protecting nuts (28) holding the head together (5); the sheet metal has oval holes (30) to match the leading bolts (31) permanently attached to the flange (32) of the housing (1).<IMAGE>
