PURPOSE:To secure the setup time of a flip-flop and enable high-speed operation by writing input data in the flip-flop when a write inhibition signal indicates writing and setting specific data by a logic circuit when the write inhibition signal indicates inhibition. CONSTITUTION:When the write inhibition signal indicates writing, stored data DIN is written in the flip-flop 10. When the write indication signal indicates write inhibition, on the other hand, logic circuits 11 and 12 are selected according to the logical value of last output data and the preset XPR or reset XRES of the flip-flop 10 is made effectively to set the same logical value with the last output data as current output data, thereby holding the last output data. Consequently, the setup time of the flip-flop 10 is secured and the high-speed operation becomes possible. |
