<p>Method for packaging a generally prism-shaped, and specifically parallelepiped-shaped load, wherein at least one rigid edge-protecting corner piece (4) is first placed on at least one edge (3) of the load (1) and rigidly fastened thereto, and wherein use is made of a device (14) for grasping, moving, depositing and holding corner pieces, said device being placed between a corner piece store (15) and the edge (3) of said load (1). A corner piece (4) is supplied to one edge (3) of the load (1) from the store (15) by said device (14) which alone can hold the corner piece (4) in place on the load edge (3) in at least a first area (16) while said piece (4) is fastened thereto, whereafter the device (14) is disengaged from said corner piece (4).</p> |
