The parent patent described novel polyimide-precursor-monomers used for prodn. of composite materials, esp. laminates. This addn. describes their use in adhesive comps. An excess of a primary di- or tri-amine is added to the monomer, which is a mixture of 31-amino-3-carboxy-4-methoxycarbonyl benzhydrol and 31-amino-4-carboxy-3-methoxycarbonyl benzhydrol isomers, pref. in presence of an aromatic tetracid or a deriv.
