<p>Main body is a U-section box, closed below by a fixed plate and above by a hinged plate. Decorations can be placed within its thickness. Two lateral strips are glued to the respective front edges of the box's right-angled corners over its whole height. A front transparent glass carries, on each side and plumb with the side strips, tongues which separate the lighting chamber from the decorative chamber. The tongues are made opaque, partially or to a certain height, by application or gluing of a product, paint, paper or fabric; the position of the non-opaque zone is at the side of the bottom and gives a glancing illumination in the decorative chamber. The tongues can be completely opaque over part of their height an donly transmit light at the bottom of the show case. Pref., neoprene-based adhesives are used to fix the elements.</p> |
