The invention relates to a hoop casing device for parcels of at least two markedly different sizes. It is characterised in that - on the one hand, the transport means (5) is split into at least two portions (5a, 5b) which are mutually complementary and equally spaced from each other by a distance (E) which is sufficiently wide to allow the free circulation of the gripping means (13), but sufficiently narrow so as not to impede the passage of the parcel from one portion to another, and - on the other hand, each portion (5a, 5b) in question has a corresponding bar trajectory (Ta, Tb) which extends longitudinally from the rear edge (18) of the transport means (5) as far as the front edge (19a, 19b) of the portion (5a, 5b) in question and which, geometrically in the space delimited by the plane (P) and the trajectory portion located above this plane (P) has a form which permits inscription on the parcel (1). <IMAGE>
