摘要 |
PURPOSE:To use a mass storage cache memory without increasing the capacity of an uninterruptive power supply by saving data which is not written on the cache memory into a disk device in a short time at the time of a power cut. CONSTITUTION:A computer unit is provided with a power unit 6 having the uninterruptive power supply 6a. The unit 6 automatically switches a system to the battery of the device 6a, continues power source supply and informs the power cut to an interface substrate 5 when a power source from outside is shut off by the power cut. Since the battery capacity of the device 6a has its limit, communication to a central processing unit 4 by an interruption processing is executed when the substrate 5 detects the power cut. The unit 4 executes the writing processing of data of an OS inside part preparing for the shut-off of the power source. The unit 4 informs a disk control unit 1 of the power cut and saves data on RAM1a to a magnetic disk device 2. |
