<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a golf club selectable according to various conditions such as the conformation of body, physical condition and ball locus of a golfer by screwing a male screw with a head section hooked in a recess into a female screw to fasten a shaft to a club head. CONSTITUTION:A recess 6 constituting the opening section of a through hole 4 is formed on the sole face 5 of the club head 1 of the through hole 4, a hexagonal cross section portion 7 as a noncircular cross section portion is formed on the through hole 4 near the recess 6, and a hexagonal cross section portion with a contour shape adaptable to the hexagonal cross section portion 7 is formed on the outer periphery of the tip section of a shaft 3 by such means as pressing. A male screw 12 with a head section 11 hooked in the recess 6 is screwed into a female screw (or bolt) 10 provided on an insert body 9 into the tip section of the shaft 3 to fasten the club head 1 and the shaft 3. A golf club most suitable to a golfer can be adjusted.</p> |
