The invention relates to a device for locking a removable lid onto a pressurised vessel, the lid and the vessel having coaxial cylindrical wall portions (11; 21) intended to nest together and come opposite one another in the closed position, a seal being located between these two walls. The device includes several locking fingers (4) which can move radially, passing through the cylindrical wall portion (21) of the vessel and capable of engaging in blind holes formed in the cylindrical wall portion (11) of the lid. <IMAGE>
