The invention relates to a sailboard for tuition, of the type including a stabiliser device intended to be fitted to the rear of the board. According to the invention, the stabiliser device includes a) a base (1), in the shape of a plate, provided with means capable of removably fastening it onto the board; b) an elevated caisson (water-tight box) (7), provided with means for supporting a bar (8) bearing two floats (9) intended for stabilising the board (5), the upper part of which acts as a seat (10) for the teacher while the pupil is standing on this same board, holding the wishbone; c) a clamp (bracket) (15) intended for fastening a motor allowing the board to be used in motorised fashion. <IMAGE>
