The present invention relates to a clutch including a reaction plate (1), a cover (2), a pressure plate (5), and at least one interleaved disc (6, 7, 8) adjacent to the reaction plate (1), in which an intermediate drive component (3) exhibits, on the one hand, means (33) for rotational connection and, on the other hand, at least one axial stop (35). According to the invention, progressive elastic means (300) are interposed axially between the reaction plate (1) and its associated interleaved disc (6), and the said progressive means (300) are shaped so that they interact directly or indirectly with the said rotational connection means (33).
