An extended ladder (1) is formed from two equal length hollow rung ladders (2,3), the lower of the two ladders has side rails (4,5), and hollow rings (6), whilst the upper has the same constituents (7,8,9). Rungs in each case (6,9) are positioned completely through the side rails (4,5;7,8). The two ladders (2,3) are joined to each other by a connection device (10) which has lower (11) and upper (12) parts. Each of the parts (11,12) of the connection device (10) comprises two hard rubber rungs, two screws with wing nuts, and two connecting splicing plates with two holes. The hard rubber rungs have a shaft with end pieces, and their length corresponds to that of the hollow rungs. USE - To form an extended ladder.
