Laser apparatus includes a binocular indirect ophthalmoscope for irradiating a treatment laser beam onto an eye (11) requiring treatment. The laser apparatus comprises an optical fiber (3) for guiding the treatment laser beam to the binocular indirect ophthalmoscope, a dichroic mirror (9) which reflects the treatment laser beam while transmitting a pair of observation beams of the binocular indirect ophthalmoscope. an optical system (30, 31) which directs the treatment laser beam to the dichroic mirror (9) so that the axis of the reflected treatment laser beam coincides with the centre of the pair of observation beam axes. With this arrangement, the operator is easily able to control the treatment of the eye (11). <IMAGE> |
