PURPOSE:To improve dielectric strength by reducing a burnt material having specific particle diameter and reoxidizing. CONSTITUTION:BaCO3 is blended with TiO2, SrCO3, Y2O3, Mn2O3 and SiO2 so as to give a composition shown by the formula, ground in a wet state, dried and calcined to give calcined powder, which is reground to give calcined powder having <=1.0mum average particle diameter. Then the calcined powder is mixed with a binder and water, dried, granulated and molded to give a molded article. Then the molded article is burnt, the burnt material is reduced and reoxidized in an atmosphere containing oxygen at 1,000-1,300 deg.C for <=5 hours to give a semiconductor porcelain having <=10mum average particle diameter and resistance value continuously dropping form the surface toward the interior. |
