The invention concerns hydraulic brake systems with anti-blocking control in which a multi-way valve (3), which, in its basic position, is on "open" and enables a hydraulic-fluid link to be established between the brake-pressure generator (1) and the brakes (2) connected to the output side, controls the hydraulic-fluid link between the pressure generator (1) and the brake (2) as a function of the pressure generated in the servo-pump pressure line (4). The invention thus enables the system to be extended inexpensively to include drive slip control, without making any significant changes in the basic design of the circuitry, particularly the control electronics, and without the need to increase the electrical complexity of the brake system.
