The appliance (8) incorporates two winder units a horizontal (3) and a vertical (4) coil winder with two axles (3a, 4a) behind each other in the direction of travel. At least one coil-winder (3) is incorporated on the baling-press (2). A tilter tips a bale (1) by about 90 degrees when conveying it from the first to a second coil winder unit. A tilting-plate (16) supporting the bale (1) in the first coil winder unit, and a filting lever conveying the bales after the tilting plate has been tipped into the second coil winder unit form the tilting appliance. ADVANTAGE - Round and square bales are wrapped in stretch sheeting and quickly and tightly packed.
