The metal pipe branch assembly has at least one main pipe and two or more branch pipes opening into it. The pipe branch (10) is formed by a cohesive, integral, hydrostatically shaped component which has longitudinal flanges (13) only in the regions on the inside between the branch pipes (15). Each two adjacent branch pipes pref have common longitudinal flanges, which connect the two branch pipes together on their long sides.
