PURPOSE:To form a composition for hydraulic extrusion molding having excellent surface properties and excellent reinforcing properties free from asbestos by blending a hydraulic substance and clay minerals having double structure as main components with a thickening agent and organic fibers and limiting an amount of water to be added. CONSTITUTION:A composition for hydraulic extrusion molding comprising 50-90wt.% hydraulic substance and 50-10wt.% clay minerals having double structure used as main materials, containing 0.1-3 thickening agent and 0.3-5.0 pts.wt. organic fibers based on 100 pts.wt. of the main materials, having a ratio of water/main materials of 20-50wt.%. Polyvinyl alcohol-based fibers having >=7g/dr fiber strength, >=200g/dr modulus of elasticity and 0.1-50dr fineness are the most preferable as the organic fibers. The hydraulic substance is basically a hydraulic inorganic substance and Portland cement is representatively cited as the hydraulic substance. Kaolinite, hydrotalcite, etc., may be cited as the clay minerals. |
