The fully lined disc brake, has a stationary cylindrical brake carrier supporting circumferentially fixed but axially movable brake discs. A fixing and secondary braking device mounted in the brake carrier (13) comprises a lamella assembly whose circumferential lamellae (20) fitted with friction linings are set axially movable on an extension (2 1) of the wheel hub (2). This secondary brake device is fitted with spring tension means (24, 25) and compressed air release mechanism (26 to 29). To operate the fixing brake the plate springs (24) forming the spring tension means transfer their tension to the lamella assembly (20/21) to stop the vehicle wheel (3).
