The invention relates to a device for controlling a valve (20) with stem (26) of an internal-combustion engine by means of a rocker (22), of which a lever arm controlling the displacement of the valve extends in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the stem (26) of the valve (20). According to the invention, an intermediate control member is interposed between one end (40) of said lever arm controlling the rocker (22) and the free end (30) of the stem (26) of the valve (20). <IMAGE>
